News and Events
WASNC is now increasingly focusing its efforts into digital media and major high key events. As part of a year-long strategic plan, the society is increasing its digital presence in order to make it easier for its members and casual readers alike to discover and celebrate the influence Wales and the Welsh have had on America. Its events are aimed at allowing all residents of the State access to the wide cultural heritage of Wales.

Other events:
Whilst we primarily publicize WASNC's own or related events on these pages, there are numerous other events that take place both in our region and across the United States. Some of these are listed on our blog site, including the monthly listings provided by Wales Government's New York Office.
The WASNC blog Y Blog
Want to share that funny story of how you went to Treharris but ended up in Treherbert instead? Need to tell the world about how a couple of coal tips are now a UNESCO World Heritage Site at Blaeanvon or just share your recipe for Glamorgan Sausage? Yes, you could wait until the next issue of Pethau but WASNC also has a blog site.
Y Blog is a semi-independent sibling to this site, accessible by typing blog.wasnc.org into your browser or click here The topics are undefined and can be (are) about anything that our users care to say. Obviously, the site will be moderated by the Board of WASNC, but that is only to avoid slander and politicking!
Calendar
This calendar is there purely to allow you to discover that you forgot to do something really important yesterday!
