Celebration of Wales October 27
Join us in Palo Alto on Saturday October 27 for a light-hearted look at the history and culture of Wales through music, prose and poetry. Wales - a land of mythology and magic, poetry, music and so much more! The evening will feature the by-now "Famous" Red Dragon Choir (back by popular demand), readings of Welsh folk tales, harp music, talented young performers, popular Welsh songs- and delicious home-baked Welsh desserts and drinks. It's time to celebrate the enchanting land that we call "home"! We look forward to seeing you there!

The Web and Blog Sites
WASNC is still developing its website and electronic presence. Over the last few months, the Society has built its platforms, basically this site and the sister blog site, and is now seeking more content for both. Check back on a regular basis.
WASNC's Digital media is run by Terry Escott as part of the society's modernization plans.
Membership News
WASNC is seeking new members and over the next few weeks the Society will be launching online membership.
In the interim, you can still join the Society by contacting the Membership Director.
Longer term plans....
When
you consider that just the nine counties California's San Francisco Bay Area
alone are bigger than Wales itself, you can imagine how hard it is to get people
together. Therefore, the Society's long term plan is that through its
activities, membership and digital media, WASNC will be the premier source of
Welsh information in Northern California, providing links to other Welsh-related
websites and organizations that will enable everyone to explore their Welsh
heritage.
