Croeso -The Welsh American Society of Northern California- welcome
WASNC
WASNC
seeks to celebrate and promote the rich culture and heritage of Wales and its
contribution not only to California, but to the whole of the United States and
the rest of the world, including England. Click on the
WASNC link on the
toolbar above to find out more.

News and Events
WASNC's
first event in the new year will be the Noson Lawen, which literally translates
to a Merry Evening. Really this is just the Welsh celebration of Welsh
Night.
Y Noson Lawen will be held on January 7th and more details will be released shortly. Click here for more info
Remember to check our News and Events page regularly, not only for the Society's events, but other items of interest in Northern California.
The Web and Blog Sites
WASNC is still developing its website and electronic presence. Over the last few months, the Society has built its platforms, basically this site and the sister blog site, and is now seeking more content for both. Check back on a regular basis.
WASNC's Digital media is run by Terry Escott as part of the society's modernization plans.
Membership News
Members will be pleased to note that in addition to the new electronic presence, several major events are planned for the next months. Members will receive further information as it is available, either directly or in our members section.
Longer term plans....
When
you consider that just the nine counties California's San Francisco Bay Area
alone are bigger than Wales itself, you can imagine how hard it is to get people
together. Therefore, the Society's long term plan is that through its
activities, membership and digital media, WASNC will be the premier source of
Welsh information in Northern California, providing links to other Welsh-related
websites and organizations that will enable everyone to explore their Welsh
heritage.
